The Wooster Group, Nowy Jork

On August 31, the project BIAŁOSZEWSKI / GINSBERG VR will by premiered by The Wooster Group in New York. Białoszewski, one of the most important Polish poets of the 20th century, and Allen Ginsberg met in 1967 in Warsaw. What was the significance of that meeting for the global avant-garde movement? What were the consequences of that meeting? What did not happen? Possible stories, counterfactual narratives and alternative realities are the subject matter of the performative-mocumentary installation created by Krzysztof Garbaczewski and Nowy Teatr in cooperation with The Wooster Group. It is a constant look into the future rooted in tradition. This is the avant-garde of the 21st century.
